Isolation Day 5 - Haven’t You Got a Gnome to Go To

Its the 19th July. UK freedom day. But, then again, not. We were up early to get to our Day 5 Early Release tests and were about to get into the car and drive off when the Track and Trace lady turned up!  20 minutes later (they don’t tell you they are coming) we would have been absent from our quarantine location. Phew!
She was lovely and understood what we were doing. Off we shot. Got to the booked test just in time for our slot. Since then, our phones and iPads have been like the proverbial watched pots. Never coming to the boil, or, in our case, not giving us the results we are hoping to see. We have been told it may take up to 24 hours to get them. How anyone unvaccinated in the UK can take test and get a result in the 24 hours before travel - as required now by France - can get to France in the tight timelines required I don’t know. Maybe thats the point. They only want vaccinated travellers. 
Anyway, we are waiting. Still. Onwards and upwards.
