Back.  Finally.  Since I was last here the pandemic, the protests, then the horrific wildfires, the heatwave earlier this month... Hard to think about it all.

It's been so long the mailman has stopped delivering mail.  Spoke to the post office today.

Thankfully we have a wonderful neighbor who helped us out, checked on the place, flushed the toilet, ran the taps, kept things going.  In return, when his fridge/freezer broke down he used ours for several months until he could get his fixed - long story.  One of many these last 18 months...
