Stranded

On our way up to Wellingborough this morning, we got stuck on the M1 Northbound between junctions 13 & 14. (45mins). The majority of the people got out of their vehicles and stood in the sweltering heat. This young man was driving a white van, got out and sat on the concrete motorway barriers. I took this opportunity to photograph him. 

Later on we found out there was an accident on the southbound side of the motorway.... a car transporter had overturned.
