Usnea

Although I see this lichen in many places I visit it is rare in my garden. Sometimes a year or two will pass without my finding any.

Had a busy day, including a trip to Christchurch. It was a pleasant drive, with no gusty wind or sunshine in my eyes, even though the sun was shining.
