North Berwick

Never been here before it’s about 1 hour 40 mins away but we are always going somewhere further when head down the A1(a horrible road).  Had a lovely day here we parked in a long stay and walked down by the tennis club and down to the beach.  Walked along it and up the high street where I didn’t see any closed shops .  Seems like a very affluent area and quite a big number of holidaymakers.

Found a good Cafe called Steampunk and a  big 10 for their coffee smooth and well made.  Sat out in their garden (in the shade).

Walked along the other beach and then a game of putting .  Started to get hungry so stopped off at North Berwick Fry for a delicious breaded fish supper (at 3pm).  Sat on the seafront people watching and eating- perfect!  

We stopped off on the way to the car to watch some junior tennis match, they were good.

Caught up in some traffic problems at Sherrifhall so were a bit later than getting there.  Still hot when we got home and sat in garden in the evening sun.  I noticed a pink moon last night seemingly to do with Sahara dust.
