Black Guillemots

It's been a few days since I spent time with the local black guillemots (aka tysties) - these are really such engaging wee birds.

I've been hoping to get a better picture of the very shy chick - the best photo today (see the extra) took a lot of patience and a wee bit of photo jiggery pokery.
