Trying to hide from the sun

Not a Highland Cow just an ordinary farm cow trying her best to keep cool.
This one should have joined her pal in the pool that never seems to dry up.

I took Poppy for a walk in Pollok this morning and there wasn't a Highland Cow, calf or bull to be seen in any of the usual fields. I presume the keepers had moved them all nearer the river where they could cool off.

So hot today and I confess that I don't cope well when the temp rises over about 22°
