Andalusian Stallion

I believe this is the Andalusian Stallion by Hamish Mackie.  It's a vey imposing one and a quarter size bronze stallion as placed in the formal gardens at Blenheim Palace.  I have found it quite tricky to get information so this might not be correct!

Correct or not it is a beautiful creation and i enjoyed spending time with it this afternoon.  Certainly didn't fancy walking round all the grounds in the even hotter heat we have had today.  We met Wendy, Ben, Rachel and Sam there as their little home for a few days is not far from there.  Good to see them again after only a couple of days!  We had lunch, staggered around a bit, had an ice cream then they went off for their tour round the palace and we came home the country route.  Much nicer than the motorway.

Dad has been in by himself all day.  He was up before we left and I had prepared his lunch for him.  He didn't eat much of it and hasn't bothered with much to drink.  He did get the TV on though which is an achievement for him.  I think the heat is getting him down a bit.

I think that goes for quite a few people!
