A lovely evening to watch football.

Chester continued their pre-season programme with a comfortable victory over Northwich Victoria. It was handy for me because the Vics ground, which they share with Witton Albion, is easier for me to get to than Chester. The photo shows new signing Darren Stephenson make a determined effort to get the ball.
