Yellow Eyes

This splayed deer fly was very annoying. It constantly tried  to stab R. through the shirt. It has not only a strange behaviour, it has also strange eyes...
We had an exhausting day.
We have to excavate 25 cm for the subsurface of the terrace and later fill it up with gravel and smaller gravel. We borrowed a tiller to help to loosen the soil. It is unbelievable how much earth has to be removed. I'm starting to think that a new terrace was a stupid idea. We underestimated the project a bit. But what the heck tomorrow it goes on and now I'm tired to the arching bones and fall in bed.
I am very grateful that we have so much support from R.
