Cock Hill

Another early start for a train-ride to that London. A beautiful dawn in Bristol, a stunning sunrise over frosty fields near Bath and Chippenham; snow lying on the ground in the Vale of the White Horse almost as far as Didcot. Loads of opportunities for great photos but all of that viewed through a grimy double-glazed train window travelling at 100mph so no chance of a decent photo.

Arriving in London and it is grey and overcast and metropolitan in ways I could well do without. Walking from Liverpool Street through Spitalfields came across this view: a lane called Cock Hill, taken from Catherine Wheel Alley. I like the street names.
