Daylily

Spent a chunk of the day up in Sydney, purchasing material to create some kind of stand to display my paintings at the market!  I was helped by a lovely woman, she happily wandered the store with me, offering ideas....it was just such a treat to have some help, i find large hardware stores a bit daunting....too many types of screws!!!!   anyway, got some wood etc., and now Terry just has to build it....by the 30th!!!!

But the exciting thing was that Barb, who wwoofed here last year, came for an overnight visit!   What a joy it was to have her visit us.   She is a pretty amazing woman, so energetic and adventurous....she loves driving long distances, exploring and has turned the back of her rather small car into a very comfortable sleeping area, i was very impressed.   Anyway, we had lots to talk about, she is visiting her 2 daughters in Nova Scotia, and of course much of the chat was about becoming a grandmother!  So wonderful to have a like minded, strong and funny woman around for a visit.
