Cool lady

Another scorching day. This lady, who stands atop the grave of John Waddell and his family, however, looks extremely cool and serene. Unfortunately I don’t know who she is - Waddell was a prominent Victorian railway contractor.  A notable example of his work was the rebuilding of Putney Bridge in London 1882.

Blip tells me that this is my 200th entry - difficult to believe I’ve managed to find something to snap for 200 days in a row. It has become quite addictive and has given added purpose to my daily walks and forced me to look at more details. I love the Blip community and look forward to reading all the varied journals and seeing everyone’s wonderful photos. Here’s to many more blips!
