A Labour of Love

We’ve been to visit friends today on their smallholding on the moorlands between Sheffield and Barnsley. They have done wonders to create a stunning garden with ornamental areas, vegetables, grassland and woodland areas on a sloping site. We saw Ravens overhead and a family of Jays on the feeders, and lots of insects including a number of butterflies and a fluorescent Mint Leaf Beetle. I’m blipping this section of a stunning drystone wall built from scratch by my friend. I’m completely in awe of her skill.
