Burrator

This was Burrator reservoir today from Lowery Tor. Beautifully still in the sweltering heat. Most of the perimeter is wooded. The coniferous trees are being gradually replaced by native deciduous species. The extra features a cone from one of the remaining areas of the dark coniferous forest. A bit like a hedgehog of the woods.
