Looking down

Looking down at the waters edge usually turns up something of interest, sometimes good and sometimes not so good.  There were lots of birds just sitting about, making a noise, feeding and flying around.  I did not see the sunbathing cormorant or the heron but I did see the female mallard duck and her five chicks, it was great to see that there are still five.
