Heat and Dust

Have you read the book Heat and Dust  by  Ruth Prawer Jhabvala ?
This book won the Booker Prize in 1975. I read it and liked it a lot and then I saw the movie they made based on the book, which was also called Heat and Dust. In Spanish it was titled East and West - which was also very good title.
I remember that I liked the book so much that I chose it as one of the compulsory readings for my students in their last year of High School.
