The lone fisherman....

Here is a shot of a great blue heron from Payne's Prairie Preserve. This is where the water rushes off of the prairie and into the Alachua sink hole. He has his back to the prairie.

I didn't have a tripod with me, but wanted to soften the water, so I slid down the bank where I could wedge in solid against the bank and some rocks and handheld this shot at 1/10th!

Not sharp as a tack, but I am quite pleased because of the sweat equity involved in getting the shot!! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did getting it.
