Abstract Thursday - Repetition

Wednesday's blip now posted - playing catch up again!  Headache today with the heat and lots of noise.  Roofers turned up at 8am as planned and set to work very quickly.  Lots of crashing and banging as any broken slates and ridge tiles removed and the the pointing was removed from the chimney.  It was boiling and I kept having to make more ice to put in cold drinks for the men. In the midst of all this chaos my supermarket delivery arrived so work had to halt whilst that was sorted.  I then dashed off to community choir and stopped off in town for a few items of shopping.  I got on my 2nd bus - it went 5 yards to the lights and then conked out! Overheated!  All the other buses were running late so I had to walk to the venue and was boiling when I arrived.  I grabbed this shot quickly in the way in as I thought the rows of chairs, benches and lines would do for today’s theme of “repetition”.  Got told off for being late - not seriously (I arrived with a minute to spare!) and I couldn’t cool down throughout the whole session.  A good sing, and we got lifts home which saved some time.  The roofers really put in a good day’s work and should be finished tomorrow.  Looks so different now with gutters without holes in, haha!  Only downside is that I’ll have to get the old gutters to the specialist recycling centre in the other side of Bradford as they are concrete asbestos lined - could be interesting without a car - don’t think they would appreciate me taking that sort of parcel on the bus!! You also have to make an appointment, and take quite a lot of paperwork - no wonder rogue traders flytip such items.  Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursday - just realised that I didn’t tag my entry last week.  :-(
