The Bumbles were out in force

Team bumblebee made a stunning appearance today with several different species members showing up for the games opening ceremonies. Unfortunately they were not in a mood to be photographed prior to the games opening  as they were busy  getting ready for the pollinating trials that are being held this week. The team was mostly made up of the common Eastern  bumblebees who were too busy buzzing around to talk to this reporter . Some suprising members of the team included the half Black Bumblebee in the main photo ( as ID'd by Seek) and a Two spotted Bumblebee who was so busy at his flower of choice he couldn't stop to speak .
