Openings Ceremony of the AOG

The openings ceremony of the Alternative Olympic Games finally started.
The athletes had gathered in many stadiums around the world and were excitedly waiting for the Games to begin. 
This was also the case here in the arena "Lavendelarium". One of the highlights was the flight of the bees relay through the Olympic Rings. After a few speeches with the motto "faster, higher, stronger - together" the starting shot was given. May the games be fair and honest. We are looking forward to many exciting competitions!

This reporter ask for excuse for her late entry. She was celebrating with interviewing the athletes until late and didn't recognise the alarm after an urgently needed power nap on the couch. Perhaps there is also some digging involved, but that's another story ;-)
