Quintessential summer

A bitty sort of day, but quite productive. Warm and sunny once again, with a pleasant light breeze, just right for drying a couple of loads of washing. Made appointments with the dentist for each of us, nipped out to fetch my repeat prescription, and spent yet more time attempting to sort out our final electricity bill with SSE. (I knew 'switching' suppliers' wouldn't be as easy as they claimed!) Then - at last - did the final little bit of sanding on the woodwork in the hall!

In the evening walked the Humbleton round with MrM. A coincidence as we started up the footpath through the campsite! We bumped into a woman who was camping near us at Usha Gap last week - she and her partner are staying for a day or two before heading home, so we stopped to chat for a while before continuing up the hill.

Wild flowers in abundance by the footpaths. Lovely!
