The Lozarithm Lens

Flower Friday (Friday 23rd July 2021)

The fuchsias are beginning to do their thing. This is the view from the kitchen window, but to avoid shooting through glass I used a wide-angle lens and squeezed into a space behind a table outside for Flower Friday, with thanks to BikerBear as always.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Bing & Ruth - Gigantic (2021)
Bing & Ruth's cover of  Pixies' Gigantic is from the 4AD label's Bills & Aches & Blues compilation, which turned up in the post today, where 4AD recording artists perform songs by other 4AD artists.
Bing & Ruth formed in 2006 as an American minimalist/systems/ambient music ensemble from Brooklyn NY, led by pianist David Moore, who seems to be the only person performing on this instrumental piece.
Unfortunately, much as I enjoyed it, I was unable to detect the remotest resemblance to any part of the song Gigantic, as performed so rousingly by Pixies, featuring co-writer Kim Deal.
