75 miles

Hannah is running seventy-fives miles for charity, this month, but a couple of weeks ago she was really ill for a few days (Covidish but negative tests). To be honest, I don't think anyone would have reasonably expected her to stick with the challenge but she was - characteristically - quite determined to see it through.

This has left her needing to run four and a half miles every morning until the end of the month, so I offered to go out with her this morning for a bit of moral support.

And we had a nice run together, setting off from her place in New Islington, up to the Oldham Road and along there for a while, before turning right to go down past Etihad, and then back round to her flat, after which I ran back to Salford.

Today's photo was taken along our route, a neat encapsulation of Manchester's contrasting blend of the old and the new.
