It's too hot for me ......

....... but not too hot for this little hoverfly.

I don't grow any clematis but my neighbour does so while I was out with the hose, trying to quench the thirst of the plants, I took a quick pic and then I was back inside as soon as possible.

A trip to Edinburgh today to have lunch and a long overdue catch-up with niece and her fella. Strange to be there with no Edinburgh Festival or Fringe ..... certainly not so many people thronging the streets.
