HMS Duckie, by Paul Walsh

Went out on an early run to try for a photo of the full moon coloured by the rising sun. Everything was okay until just before the sun rose. The moon dropped lower, and the clouds became thicker, and the moon was lost to sight.

On the way back to the B&B from Te Tatua e Riukiuta (more commonly known as Big King, the one remaining volcanic cone of what was called Three Kings by the British settlers) I saw this further example of the utility box paintings done by Paul Walsh.

Before heading back to the beach house, we visited the new home, where work is progressing. Rather slower than we would prefer, but it is looking good.
