A blurry Tawny Owl silhouette. He, and it was a he, was calling to others nearby, and didn't seem perturbed by my close presence. Wouldn't have noticed him if he hadn't called as I passed by. A lass on the other side of the road paused whilst I was taking the picture, and when I pointed out the subject she became very excited. Think it made her day, especially when he called out again whilst she was watching him.
