Friend or Foe?

Sorry the title is now confusing!  I have swapped photos - this is Marieke Huysmans-Berthou playing piano on her boat at the pier in Tobermory.  It was a lovely event and lots of people turned up to enjoy her music.  Have included extras - more of her plus Seabird who is her cat and travels with them on the boat.  More about her Pianocean project can be found here.

Can anyone identify what this is?  It is at least one inch in length and has a very loud buzz. (mystery solved - it is a giant  horsefly - is in extras)

Might change my blip later as planning to go and see the piano on a boat.
