Les Babouins de Torteva

Les Babouins de Torteva is Guernsey French for the Scarecrows of Torteval. Every year various residents in the parish of Torteval display scarecrows in various forms on their properties. The lanes are closed except for residents and it’s a lovely walk around to see them. Hundreds of people descend on the parish over the weekend. There were 48 different ones this year and many carried the ‘Covid’ theme! I love this one in my blip!
