A Trip to Balerno

Balerno is described as "a large village located 8 miles outside of Edinburgh city centre, next to Currie and Juniper Green. The village has shops, pubs, banks and churches. Surrounded by the Pentland Hills, the scenic village is in close proximity to the walk that leads to Harlaw Reservoir and Threipmuir Reservoir"  And that's about it - it's ok !
