Chimneys

You wouldn’t expect chimney pots on a station building, but our station had a stationmaster’s house attached to it when it was built in the 1880s. The building is listed and has recently undergone a refurbishment and it looks much smarter as a result. Even so, I can see foliage growing out of one if the chimney stacks! There are fewer trains at the moment because of the pingdemic. I hope they don’t decide we could do without this little branch line altogether.
The subject for our next WI Camera club is roofs and chimneys, so don’t be surprised if I try out a few here first.
