Looking down and looking back

A strenuous walk with my group today. We climbed the tallest hill on the South Coast, Golden Cap, six hundred feet high. The main shows the view down to Seatown where we had our lunch. The first extra is the view back to Lyme Regis and the second extra is the ruins of the church of Stanton St Gabriel which is mentioned in the Domesday book. A warm day with only a very loud thunder clap as we arrived home but no rain so far although forecast. Only seven miles but it felt a lot further.
