Meal on the Ferry

The post wedding fun continued with tea and cake at the bride’s parent’s house, followed by a mad rush to collect things our time had not allowed to that point. Still, met up with more friends and got to the ferry departure on time. In fact a bit early, but with the covid paperwork, it was about right. Once aboard, we decided to go immediately to the restaurant. The overnight ferry from The UK to France was pretty empty. We really needed some food, so the self-service restaurant was pretty much the only choice. Actually, the Boeuf Bourguignon was very nice indeed. Yes, well spotted, I had chips with it. Who says the rules are strict?! We were surprised how soon after our arrival the dining room closed. Bed and sleep followed.
