The 60's?

Swinging back to the sixties? It was all far away in Carnaby Street.

       The decade started innocently enough. Then came the 11+ (disappointment); top of the class so where could I go? I was old fashioned. My best mate at school was a Beatles fan (still is - last time I saw him he'd collected all sorts of memorabilia). Mods, Rockers and 'mockers' - the sixties were lost on me. I liked odd things like Tuf shoes, folk music (trad and Dylan) . . . pop groups like Unit 4+2 and the Yardbirds . . .
