Around Liphook

and the Foley Estate. We walked past sweet-corn fields and two lakes where there were lots of friendly ducks expecting to be fed. We went past the entrance to the Foley Manor where there were many other buildings and cottages (some in ruins) and a surprise statue of Field Marshall Hugh Rose, 1st Baron Strathnnairn. Apparently his statue was erected in Knightsbridge, London and moved to Liphook in 1931. He never married.
