South Coast Scribblings

Mixed up

The plant in the foreground at the end of our garden is a butterfly antirrhinum - or should I say ‘plants’ as it appears to be a number all growing together, judging from the variety of colours!  These really have been fabulous plants and a bonus is that the slugs don’t appear to be interested in chewing them.

Have been over at Dad’s house (can’t stop calling it that yet) with a local plumber who we trust discussing what we would like done with the bathroom and en-suite shower room before we move in later in the year.  He came up with some good ideas - particularly one which will get rid of the tanks in the loft and increase the flow of the hot water so the new shower should work much better.  It will give us more room in the loft to get our rubbish - I mean prized possessions! - from this house’s loft into the other loft (together with what we already loaded it with before we moved from the last house! ). We will have been living here for three years at the end of July - not long, when you think we lived in the last house for 28 years.
