Up up and away

I set off circa 70 Black-headed Gulls from the puddle of water left at Hurst reservoir this morning.

They roamed around a little then built up speed and went round and round and up and up into the sky.

I tried to capture the circle on a photograph but some how it didn't look as clear as when they were moving. This is as close as I got, helped a little by the one bird that seemed to have got dizzy and ended up in the middle going round in a much tighter circle than the others.
