Tree Guys

Today we  arrived home from the supermarket to see that Ralph and Dave had already removed the horrific leylandi from the garden (only good for nesting pigeons ) and were half way finished slicing the other one which we are keeping (trimmed down) for privacy on our border.  We still have two rowans, an apple, an elder and a holly tree.  Yes, the previous owner was obsessed with planting trees and not keeping them at a manageable height.  That's the 10th one we have removed in our SMALL back garden!  

The two guys are so nice it was a pleasure to see them again and have a chat.

Another roaster of a day - thunder is imminent though....
