Crow’s Eye View.

After looking at the weather forecast, I decided to have a walk this morning before the rain set in. It was very pleasant; lots of Gatekeeper butterflies which seem to be having a good year. I also got a lovely sighting of a Swallow, several House Martins and a Swift all in quick succession. The prevailing wind today was from the southwest so this was where the dark clouds and thunderstorms came from. An intimation of these already over the Dark Peak in the background of the photo of my view along the Loxley Valley. If you look very closely you may see a Crow circling over the valley.
