There’s been a bit of controversy about the sign on the wall of one of local coffee shops which said ‘protect your daughters, educate your sons’. It first appeared at the time following Sarah Everard’s tragic murder in March this year. Some people were very unhappy about it as they felt it was critical of boys and men and I see today that someone has felt moved to make their own comment on it.
