The National Wallace Monument.

After some heavy rain overnight we did expect much more but it just didn’t happen. The place dried out quite quickly and stayed that way all day.
This evening we took a run out to Stirling University but the swans and cygnets were not visible., just a lot of mallard ducks feeding on the grass.
Liked the view up to the Wallace Monument though.
Today’s extra is a new arrival on the Plywood Pacific. This is a model of an ALCO PA1 in Santa Fe warbonnet livery. These big diesels were not as reliable as the opposition from General Motors but I think they look the business on the point of a train of stainless steel streamliner coaches.
