The 'formal' garden.

This is such a romantic garden, supposedly a formal rose garden but, due to grazing by the local deer, the roses have suffered severely. Fortunately I've allowed the white musk mallow, verbena bonariensis and toadflax to self seed which give it a beautiful floaty look, especially in the rain.

Had a lovely meal with my special lady this evening, it's always good to spend time with her.
