Dreich evening at the end of a mixed day, in this view towards Munlochy Bay. Whilst editing the photo, found that there was a small flock of Greylag geese at the other side of the field, they've started to arrive from the West coast this past week, and will be about the stubble fields for the next few months.

Very heavy rain this morning that tested the roof drainage, eventually eased. Showery since then, especially tonight. Some clearing of moss, leaves and other debris from pipes and drains was required.

Having bother with the computer and software loading my monitors colour profile correctly this evening. It's an on and off problem I've had with this PC for years, and basically means it's nigh on impossible to determine if the colours are "correct" or wonky. Usually caused by some Microsoft update or other, and is darned frustrating... though not so bad I'd buy any Apple product. The colours in the above look washed out, but had seemed over saturated whilst editing, so I've no idea how they'll appear to anyone else viewing them on their screens.

(Edit - Think I've figured out what they've done... until the next time they change it. A bit of tweaking and reloaded the photo.)
