Common Blue

This butterfly identification lark is a lot easier in the UK than France so I thought get some easy ones in. The blue here must be one of my favourite colours.
A five am start saw us on the ferry for the four and a half hour crossing to Mallaig. Other dogs spent most of their time barking and so the usual sleep was not a possibility. Grrr.
The drIve to Carlisle and Tricia's sister was straightforward and surprisingly quiet. A pleasant evening spent enjoying the sun, company, wine and food.
