An old fave

I haven't taken a photo of a curlew for ages. Partly because they haven't been around for well over a month and partly because the occasional one who turned up was too far away.

That changed today. This was taken shortly after taking photos of an osprey hunting but the light was quite horrible and it was a bit far away so the images weren't all that good - hence curlew wins this round.
