It might not look like much, this grey photo, but beneath the surface there is a Second World War munitions ship, with most of the cargo still in place.  It is too dangerous to move.  If it does explode there will be a tidal wave which flood the nearby town.  There has been a TV programme on the Richard Montgomery.  The wreck is marked by the mast and yellow buoys.  In the distance there are a collection of towers called the Red Forts or Maunsell Forts, again left over from The War.
