Don't be deceived...

The burst of bright sunshine at the Oval today was very much against the run of "play". In fact only 5.3 overs of actual play were possible thanks to the intermittent showers which were at times very hard. The dramatic black cloud in the background had miraculously managed to skirt round the ground without dropping its payload but it didn't take long for its cousin to appear and spoil yet another of my benighted days off work!
