Through the Window

Today I have been at home working all day, so an opportunity for a lazy blip. The view from the window this evening created a ready-made diptych. Plymouth is largely built on and between a series of hills, bordered by the sea on one side and rivers on two sides. The steep-sided valleys have historically proved unsuitable for either agriculture or urban development. This has resulted in green corridors of ancient broad-leaved woodland.
