Renewed

A fairly quiet day; some housework stuff, some wandering around town, some bargain hunting in a big clothes store that’s closing down, some crepes for lunch, some hanging out on the terrace before it got too hot. This building was rundown a few years ago and probably a prime redevelopment target. But instead, last summer it was surrounded by scaffolding while the windows were replaced and the roof was repaired and this summer it’s been restored to its former glory. I think it looks great! Just shows you what can be achieved by some renovation instead of demolition.
