Caleb day 3

So I find out later that by going to bed later Caleb often wakes up earlier - 5:10 this morning ……. although he played for a while, just after 6am he and I tip-toed downstairs leaving grandad to sleep :)

After grandad surfaced and we had breakfast, took the dogs out for a walk - the sky looked ominous, full rain protecting gear, off we ventured. Only out of the house 5 minutes and the heavens opened - well it’s only water ….. By the time we got back it was getting on for lunchtime. :)

Quick lunch and then Caleb wanted to play with play doh ….. he was happy cutting out shapes, cutting with scissors and creating all sorts of things. :)

This afternoon we had booked to go to Th Look Out Discovery Centre - it’s an interactive science exhibition with hands-on science. Caleb is quite shy, so grandad helped him with doing the activities. We had been previously but they have had to adapt some things due to covid, so it was a bit reduced in activities. Caleb found some things more fun than others. He and grandad liked the colour room (kaleidoscope type mirrors) :)

Dropped Caleb off on the way home, he was pleased to see daddy. Re-run event next week :)

Hubby and I had our feet up this evening, relaxing …… exhausted but so enjoyable :)
